Nigerian music star Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, marked her 30th birthday on June 11, 2025, with heartfelt reflections and gratitude.

To commemorate the special occasion, the Grammy-winning singer took to Instagram to share beautiful photos of herself alongside a thoughtful letter addressed to her future self.

In a playful tone, the Love Me Jeje hitmaker jokingly insisted she’s still 21, brushing off the number 30 with humor. She then reflected on her journey so far the lessons, the laughter, and the tears all of which have shaped her present life.

Tems expressed deep appreciation for her personal growth and the people who have supported her along the way. She ended her note by giving thanks to God, describing Him as her foundation and strength.

She wrote;

“Letter to future self (dramatic queen) First of all, you and I both know we’re still 21, they’re all haters and they know it! lol
This is certainly not the last time you’re gonna do some corny shiit like this but I hope you don’t stop. I hope you remember every lesson, every joy, every tear has led me here and how grateful I am for the people in my life right now. And that you remain grateful to God, cuz He’s everything!”
