Tolu Arokodare has relished his maiden goal for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Waploaded reports.

Arokodare scored the equaliser for the Super Eagles in the 1-1 draw against Russia at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, on Friday night.

The KRC Genk striker capitalised on Matvey Safonov’s mistake in the 71st minute to help Nigeria earn a share of the spoils in the game.

The 24-year-old took to social media to celebrate the goal.

“First international goal, the journey has only just started. We thank God ,” he wrote on his X account.

He has made five appearances for Éric Chelle’s side.
