ABU senate grants amnesty to overstayed students

Ahmadu Bello University's Senate has granted amnesty to students who exceeded their residency period during the 2021/2022 and 2023/2024 academic sessions but still have outstanding courses to complete for graduation.

These students can register for pending courses in the second semester of the 2024/2025 academic session and the first semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.

In essence, the university is giving students a second chance to finish their studies without having to reapply or face other penalties. This move aims to help students who were unable to graduate on time due to various reasons.
