Turkey: Osimhen crowned 2024/25 Super Lig Golden Boot winner
Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, has officially been crowned the 2024–25 Super Lig Golden Boot winner.
It rounds off a stunning season for Osimhen with Galatasaray.
The 26-year-old scored 26 goals in the top flight, as the Turkish giants claimed the league title again.
This ensured he finished five goals clear of Krzysztof Piatek and six ahead of Youssef En-Nesyri.
Osimhen was widely expected to finish as the top scorer and it has now been confirmed following the conclusion of the Super Lig campaign.
He now joins a select group of players who have won the Golden Boots in two different top-five European leagues.
In the 2022/23 season, Osimhen claimed the Serie A top scorer, helping Napoli end their 33-year wait for the Scudetto.
