Controversial Nigerian singer Speed Darlington is now under intensified public and legal scrutiny as reports emerge that the teenage girl linked to his disturbing hotel room claim is preparing to file an official police statement.

The development comes in the wake of massive public outrage after a video surfaced in which the singer allegedly claimed to have spent time in a hotel room with a 15-year-old girl. Although Speed Darlington has since retracted the statement—claiming it was fabricated merely “for clout” and later offering an apology—the backlash has shown no signs of slowing down.
