2025 University of Edinburgh Master’s Scholarship, UK

International students can apply for the Ailie Donald Scholarship 2025 to fund their Master’s study in English or Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh. The Ailie Donald Scholarship is awarded to support postgraduate Master’s study in English and/or Historical Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh’s School of Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences. The scholarship covers the UK tuition fee level for MSc study during the 2025–2026 academic year.

Eligibility:

Be accepted for admission on one of the eligible MSc or MSc by Research programs within the School of Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences at the University of Edinburgh.
Hold or expect to obtain a First Class Honours degree or the international equivalent at undergraduate level.
Preference will be given to applicants for MSc by Research programs and graduates of the University of Edinburgh.

Benefits: The scholarship covers the UK tuition fee level for MSc study. Applicants who must pay international tuition fees will be liable for the difference between the UK rate and the international rate.
