Don Jazzy, the famous Nigerian music executive, recently posted a humorous but serious message about the risks of accepting free gifts.

In a video he shared on Instagram, the Mavin Records boss addressed people who offer him freebies but then expect big favors in return.

Using his own words, he said, “You are selling Nkwobi, you come and give me free Nkwobi. I don’t want free Nkwobi. But you now give me free Nkwobi, I’ve chop it finish. Then later you’re asking me to give you Rema. How you want to use Nkwobi to collect Rema?”

He concluded the clip by asking fans not to give him gifts anymore: “Don’t give me. I don’t want. Thank you. Bye bye.”

While the video brought laughter online, Don Jazzy’s message was clear — free gifts shouldn’t carry hidden conditions.
