Superman: David Corenswet’s Clark Kent Transforms Into DCU Hero in New Posters

New posters for Superman have been released.

Superman arrives in United States theaters this coming July. Written and directed by James Gunn, the DCU movie stars David Corenswet as the titular superhero while Rachel Brosnahan portrays Lois Lane.

You can also see a short video, shared on X by the official Superman account, that sees the Clark Kent poster blend into the Superman one. “Times may change, but hope always remains,” the caption of the post reads.

“Superman, DC Studios’ first feature film to hit the big screen, is set to soar into theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures,” the official synopsis for the movie reads. “In his signature style, James Gunn takes on the original superhero in the newly imagined DC universe with a singular blend of epic action, humor, and heart, delivering a Superman who’s driven by compassion and an inherent belief in the goodness of humankind.

The cast further includes Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, Edi Gathegi as Michael Holt/Mister Terrific, Anthony Carrigan as Rex Mason/Metamorpho, Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner/Green Lantern, Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Pruitt Taylor Vince as Jonathan Kent, Neva Howell as Martha Kent, Wendell Pierce as Perry White, Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen, Beck Bennett as Steve Lombard, Mikaela Hoover as Cat Grant, Christopher McDonald as Ron Troupe, Sara Sampaio as Eve Teschmacher, Terence Rosemore as Otis, Frank Grillo as Rick Flag Sr., and María Gabriela de Faría as Angela Spica/The Engineer.

Nikolas Korda, Chantal Nong Vo, and Lars Winther serve as executive producers on the film, while Gunn and Peter Safran serve as producers.

Superman will be released in United States theaters and IMAX on July 11, 2025, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
