Transfer: Simon not desparate to leave Nantes for Everton

Moses Simon has reacted to speculation linking him with a move to Premiership club, Everton.

Simon has been consistently linked with a move to the Merseyside club following another impressive campaign with Nantes.

The 29-year-old contributed eight goals and 10 assists across all competitions in the just concluded Ligue 1 season.

The winger has been with Nantes for five seasons.

Simon hinted that he has the ambition of playing in the Premier League, but he is not desperate to leave the club.

“I’ve always given my best for this club, and I respect my contract. But of course, every player wants to play at the highest level,” he told Sports Boom.

“The Premier League is one of the best in the world. If the right offer comes, and it’s good for me and my family, then why not? But I’m not desperate.”
