Undergraduate Scholarship at University of British Columbia, Canada
International students can receive up to $25,000 in merit-based scholarships to study at the University of British Columbia in Canada. UBC offers merit-based awards that automatically consider all international undergraduate applicants upon admission. The International Major Entrance Scholarships (IMES) recognize exceptional international students entering undergraduate programs, with awards valued between $10,000 and $20,000 per year for up to four years.
Scholarship Criteria:
Be new to UBC, entering directly from secondary school (IMES) or from secondary school or post-secondary institutions (OIS)
Be an international student who will be studying at UBC on a Canadian study permit (student visa)
Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and extracurricular involvement
Not be nominated for a need-and-merit-based International Scholars award
Apply to UBC by the admissions deadline
Benefits: Recipients receive financial support ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 to help offset tuition and other education costs.
