COOU gets NUC's full accreditation in Medicine, Nursing Sciences, and other programmes
Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University has gotten full accreditation for its various academic programs during the recent exercise conducted in October and November 2024.
The results was communicated via a memo from the Acting Director of Accreditation, Engr. Abraham Chundusu, on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, dated April 29, 2025.
The accredited programs include; M.Sc. in Accounting, M.Sc. in Public Administration, Nursing Sciences, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Physiology, as well as teacher education in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Economics. Others are; Urban and Regional Planning, Medicine and Surgery, Geology, and Statistics.
The University Management expressed deep gratitude to the Visitor of the University and Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, for his invaluable support that contributed significantly to this achievement.
