Final Destination Bloodlines is predicted to have the highest opening for the franchise at the box office. Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, the movie arrives in theaters on May 16, 2025. Final Destination Bloodlines is set to become the biggest opener of the franchise at the box office. According to a report by Deadline, the movie, popularly known as Final Destination 6, is expected to make between $35 million and $40 million at the domestic box office.

Additionally, the report suggests that the film might mint $70 million at the global box office. This expected figure for the opening is bigger than the opening collections of the past five movies.

The Final Destination franchise is approximately 25 years old and has been one of the most successful ones. In comparison to Final Destination Bloodlines, the first movie, which came out in 2000, opened with $10 million and collected $112 million in its lifetime.

Final Destination 2 minted $16 million in its opening weekend and made over $90 million. The third part opened with $20 million and had a total collection of $118 million. The 4th installment had an opening of $27 million and a worldwide collection of around $187 million. Final Destination 5, which was released in 2011, opened with $18 million and collected over $157 million at the box office in its run.

In addition, the budget of the upcoming part is roughly $50 million, according to Variety. It has also garnered positive early reviews from critics.
