Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 poster shows release date window
Disney recently took to social media to share the first official poster for Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ forthcoming season. The said promo also confirmed that the sequel installment will premiere on Disney+ sometime in December 2025.
The Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 poster also revealed the involvement of a gigantic sea monster in the edition. The poster sees Walker Scobell’s Percy Jackson holding sword at the cusp of his ship’s deck while the vessel traverses through a storm-ravaged sea. The promotional art also features the scaly tentacle of a humongous sea creature standing in the way of Jackson’s path.
Based on Rick Riordan’s beloved fantasy novel series of the same name, the show follows the journey of a 12-year-old demigod named Percy Jackson, who sets out on a quest to return Zeus’ bolt in order to save the planet from the Greek God’s wrath.
While the debut chapter of Percy Jackson and the Olympians took inspiration from Riordan’s The Lightning Thief, its successor will be adapting The Sea of Monsters onto the small screens. As such, many have speculated that the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2 poster could be alluding to Scylla, a man-eating sea monster that finds its origins in Greek mythos.
Nevertheless, Disney has yet to share any official word about the plot of Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 2. Therefore, fans will have to wait until December 2025 to confirm any theories regarding how the second season of the show will pan out.
