Yellowstone’s Taylor Sheridan Reunites With Brandon Sklenar for New Action Movie

Taylor Sheridan and Brandon Sklenar are teaming up once again, this time for a brand new action movie for Warner Bros. Discovery.

What do we know about Taylor Sheridan’s new movie?

The new movie, titled F.A.S.T., was announced by WB this week, and seems to be a high priority for the company. Alongside the title, WB also confirmed that F.A.S.T. would release on April 23, 2027.

While not too much is known about the movie, the logline for it says it will follow “a former special forces commando” that “is tapped by the DEA to lead a black op strike team against CIA-protected drug dealer.”

Written by Sheridan, F.A.S.T. will be directed by Ben Richardson, who has worked with Sheridan before, directing several episodes of Yellowstone, Mayor of Kingstown, 1883, Tulsa King, and 1923. Likewise, Skelnar is no stranger to working with Sheridan, as he starred in the Yellowstone prequel series 1923.

According to a report from THR, Sheridan wrote the script for F.A.S.T. in the mid-2010s, when he also wrote the scripts for prolific movies like Sicario and Hell or High Water.

“The breadth of Taylor Sheridan’s body of work is simply astounding and unparalleled in sheer excellence and consistent quality and we could not be more honored to be making this film with him,” Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group’s Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy said in a statement (via THR). “With the hugely talent director Ben Richardson behind the camera and the exceptional producing talents of Heyday Films and Bosque Ranch, we are thrilled to have such an incredible creative team bringing F.A.S.T. to the big screen.”
