Davido Hails Lagos Nightlife as the World’s Best

Popular Nigerian singer Davido has stirred mixed reactions online after boldly claiming that Lagos boasts the best nightlife in the world.

During a recent interview on the Culture Knock Out (CKO) show, Davido was asked about interesting places to visit in Nigeria. In response, he enthusiastically recommended Lagos, even inviting the hosts to visit his home in the city.

He spoke highly of the vibrant energy in Lagos, mentioning that the city offers a wide variety of exciting spots for food, entertainment, and nightlife.

“There are so many interesting things to do in Lagos. We have amazing nightlife. I feel like we have the best nightlife in the world,” Davido confidently stated.

His comment sparked debate among fans and netizens—while some agreed and praised the Lagos social scene, others felt the statement was exaggerated compared to major nightlife cities like New York, London, or Ibiza.
