The Nollywood film community is in deep sorrow following the untimely deaths of two cinematographers, Onos and Gozie, in a tragic car accident.

The heartbreaking news was shared on Instagram by veteran Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop, who revealed that the incident occurred in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. According to his post, the two crew members were returning from a colleague’s wedding when the fatal crash happened.

Describing it as a “Black Sunday” for the industry, Stanley expressed grief over the sudden loss and noted the profound impact the tragedy has had on their colleagues and fans. Tributes have since poured in from across the entertainment industry, as many remember the contributions of the late filmmakers.
