NMCN announces Professional Exam Results in General/Post-Basic Nursing - May, 2025

This is to inform the general public especially concerned students that the Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, has approved the release of results of May, 2025 Professional Examination in General/Post Basic Nursing Programmes.

Summary of the results indicated that Thirteen Thousand, Eight Hundred and Eighty (13,880) candidates were successful representing 76% pass.

The breakdown is as follows;

A) General Nursing Programme Nine Thousand, Four Hundred Seventy-Two (9,472) candidates were successful representing 83% pass.

B) Post Basic Nursing Programmes: Two Thousand, Three Hundred and Ninety-Seven (2,397) candidates were successful representing 62% pass.

C) Foreign Trained Nursing (FTN): Three Hundred and Sixty-Four (364) candidates were successful representing 53% pass.

D) Refresher Programme: Eighty-One (81) candidates were successful representing 44% pass.

E) Community Nursing Programme

One Thousand, Five Hundred and Sixty-Six (1,566) candidates were successful representing 77% pass.

3. Heads of nursing training institutions are hereby directed to check the result of their institution(s) on-line from Monday 12th May, 2025.

4. Successful Candidates are to visit the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Portal (portal.nmen.gov.ng) to apply on-line for Registration and Licencing.

5. Please note that on-line registration formalities including payment of registration fee are to be completed within ninety (90) days. Late registration attracts a penalty fee of sixteen thousand, two hundred and fifty Naira (₦16,250.00) only per applicant after ninety (90)
