KWASU notice on disbursement of NELFUND Payment

Kwara State University management has announced that it has received the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFund) student loan payment provided by the federal government.

The NELFUND loan facility is an initiative to support students in accessing quality education without financial constraints.

The Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, who announced the receipt of the funds in a university-wide circular on Thursday, May 8, 2025, said that disbursement to verified student beneficiaries will commence on Wednesday, 14th May 2025.

"The university appreciates the federal government and the management of NELFund for this timely intervention and remains committed to ensuring a smooth and transparent disbursement process.

"Concerned students are advised to take note and be properly guided," she added.
