Popular content creator and actor Kamo State has showered Nollywood star Funke Akindele with heartfelt appreciation for the critical role she played in supporting his family during the birth of his first child.

Shortly after announcing the arrival of his baby, Kamo took to Instagram to express his gratitude in an emotional post that included a touching video of Akindele. Referring to her as his “godmother” and “an angel in human form,” he praised the actress for going above and beyond in ensuring his wife’s well-being throughout her pregnancy.

According to Kamo, despite informing Akindele late into the pregnancy, she still offered to sponsor his wife’s delivery abroad and provided hands-on assistance. He revealed that she made arrangements for her security team to be on standby at the hospital and kept in constant contact to monitor his wife Esther’s condition.

“Even when I told you about the pregnancy late, you were ready to fly my wife to the US for the baby’s birth. You told your driver and security details to follow us to the hospital even if we call them in the midnight,” he wrote.

He also shared that Akindele will be covering the costs of the baby’s naming ceremony, including clothing and catering.

“IYAMI IYAMI, your generosity knows no bounds, and your love is a gift I cherish every single day. I owe you so much, and I’ll spend a lifetime trying to repay the kindness you’ve shown me,” he added.
