LaLiga: Toni Kroos hails Barcelona midfielder as the best in his position

Former Germany midfielder, Toni Kroos, has admitted that Barcelona’s Pedri is the best player in his position currently.

According to him, Pedri is capable of scoring goals and providing assists.

Despite playing for Real Madrid in the past, Kroos was quick to shower praise on the Catalan star, reeling out his stats.

“Pedri is currently the best there is in that position in my eyes,” Kroos said.

“Pedri, in general, is a player who you’ll miss when he is not playing, no matter against whom.

“He not only scores goals, he doesn’t only assist goals. He gives you solutions.

“I had a look at what Pedri is doing this season, and in the Champions League alone, he outplays 52 opponents per game.

“In La Liga, it’s even more extreme, he overplays 59 opponents per game! He beats 11-12 defenders per game, which is the most difficult thing for a midfielder.

“He is the best. And if you’re missing a player like that, you will notice it.”
