Afrobeats queen Tiwa Savage was recently thrown a fun yet tricky question: if she had to rescue just one person from a sinking boat and the options were Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido, or Rema—who would she choose?

Laughing at the unexpected scenario, Tiwa eventually gave her answer: Rema.

She explained that her choice wasn’t based on favoritism but rather on career stage. Tiwa noted that Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido are already household names with well-established legacies in the music industry. On the other hand, Rema is still early in his journey, with plenty of room to grow and reach greater heights.

Choosing to save Rema, she implied, would be giving the younger artist the chance to continue building a successful future.
