Blake Lively to Appear on Seth Meyers Talk Show Amid Lawsuit

Blake Lively has been confirmed to appear on The Late Night with Seth Meyers. This marks her first appearance on a talk show since her legal drama with her This Ends with Us co-star Justin Baldoni began several months ago. Lively recently garnered widespread criticism and backlash after TIME Magazine honored her as one of 2025’s 100 Most Influential People.

This will be the actress’ third appearance on Seth Meyers’ NBC talk show, following previous appearances in June 2016 and April 2015.

Lively will guest star on the show likely to promote her new film, Another Simple Favor — the sequel to her 2018’s A Simple Favor starring Anna Kendrick, Henry Golding, and Bashir Salahuddin. The movie hits Amazon Prime Video, the same day as Lively’s scheduled Late Night with Seth Meyers appearance.

It remains to be seen whether Lively will address her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni in this appearance. There’s a possibility that she may not, considering the sensitive aspects surrounding the lawsuit.

However, Ryan Reynolds seemed to allude to the ongoing lawsuit, albeit vaguely, in a February appearance on Saturday Night Live‘s 50th anniversary special. Reynolds, who was in the audience with Lively, got up to ask a question to hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, who in response asked him, “How’s it going?” Reynolds then replied by asking them what they heard, eliciting a shocked look from Lively as she turned to face him.

Recently, Lively’s public appearance at the TIME100 gala invited criticism from journalist and political commentator Megyn Kelly. She called Lively’s allegations against Baldoni “fake” in an interview with Daily Mail.
