Heart Eyes Netflix Streaming Release Date Set for Mason Gooding & Olivia Holt Horror Movie

The Netflix streaming release date for Heart Eyes has been set. The romantic slasher is directed by Werewolves Within and Scare Me filmmaker Josh Ruben.

Mason Gooding (Scream franchise, Aftermath) and Olivia Holt (Totally Killer, Cruel Summer) star in Heart Eyes as Jay Simmons and Ally McCabe, respectively. The movie centers on a masked serial killer, who brutally murders couples every Valentine’s Day. He returns one day to once again terrorize Heart’s Day celebrators, this time haunting two individuals who the killer thought were romantically involved with each other.

“For the past several years, the “Heart Eyes Killer” has wreaked havoc on Valentine’s Day by stalking and murdering romantic couples. This Valentine’s Day, no couple is safe,” the logline reads.

When is the Heart Eyes Netflix streaming release date?

Heart Eyes is set to arrive on Netflix this May 8, 2025, just a few months after it graced theaters in February. It will be available to stream before the May 20 release of the platform’s upcoming original horror feature, Fear Street: Prom Queen.

The slasher comedy also stars Devon Sawa (Final Destination, Who Are You People) as Zeke Hobbs, Jordana Brewster (The Fast and the Furious film series, Cellar Door) as Jeanine Shaw, Gigi Zumbado (The Price We Pay, Bridge and Tunnel) as Monica, Michaela Watkins (You Hurt My Feelings, Casual) as Crystal Cane, and Yoson An (Mulan, Five Blind Dates) as David Shaw, among others.

The film is written by Phillip Murphy (The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard), Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day), and Michael Kennedy (Freaky). It is produced by Landon, Greg Gilreath, and Adam Hendricks, with Gary Barber, Chris Stone, Mel Turner, Phillip Murphy, and Michael Kennedy as executive producers.

Heart Eyes currently boasts an 81% critics’ score on Rotten Tomatoes. It will arrive on Netflix on May 8.
