Thunderbolts*’s Number of Post-Credits Scenes Revealed

The number of post-credits scenes at the end of Thunderbolts* has finally been revealed. The movie was screened at the Cineworld Leicester Square in London on April 22, 2025. Following its premiere, critics immediately took to social media to praise the movie for its story and performances by the cast.

Thunderbolts* reactions confirm its post-credits scene count

After Thunderbolts*’s premiere in London, numerous critics took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their reviews of the movie. Big Gold Belt Media in their review mentioned that Thunderbolts* will have “1 Mid & 1 Post credit scene.”

They also described the movie as “raw, hilarious, and deeply human,” and wrote, “It’s a bold dive into trauma, healing, and redemption. Proof that even the so-called defective losers and disposable delinquents can rise above their past and become the heroes no one expected.” The review further praises the film’s story, mentioning that it “hits where it hurts and heals where it matters.”

Thunderbolts* having 2 post-credits scenes breaks away from the streak of Marvel adding only one scene at the end after credits for its last three movies, which were Captain America: Brave New World, The Marvels, and Deadpool & Wolverine.

The aforementioned review did not reveal more details about the content of the post-credits scenes.

Thunderbolts*, directed by Jake Schreier, will hit theaters on Friday, May 2, 2025. The movie features an ensemble cast that includes Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Olga Kurylenko, Wyatt Russell, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and many others in pivotal roles. The screenplay is penned by Eric Pearson and Joanna Calo from a story by Pearson.

Early reviews have been largely positive, with many praising the tone, writing, and performances by the cast, among other things. One of the most anticipated movies of the year, Thunderbolts* is set to conclude Phase Five of the MCU.
