Ready or Not 2 Gets New Title, Adds Sarah Michelle Gellar & More to Cast

The Ready or Not sequel officially has a name and cast, with Variety reporting the film has rounded out most of its cast.

What is the name of Ready or Not 2?

According to Variety, the name of the sequel to the 2019 horror film is Ready or Not: Here I Come. The movie will see Samara Weaving reprising her role as Grace. Alongside Weaving, the sequel will also star Sarah Michelle Gellar, Elijah Wood, Kathryn Newton, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, and David Cronenberg.

Variety’s report notes that Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy will return to write the script, and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett — two members of the filmmaking collective Radio Silence — are once again returning to direct the movie.

“We’re thrilled to be returning to the world of ‘Ready or Not’ with Samara, Brett, Avery and Andrew and so excited to work with this immensely talented cast and the incredible artists across every department joining the ‘Ready or Not’ family,” said Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett in a statement on the news.

The first Ready or Not released in 2019 and starred Weaving, Adam Brody, Mark O’Brien, Elsye Levesque, Nicky Guadagni, Henry Czerny, and Andie MacDowell. The film followed the story of a young bride (Weaving) who ends up being hunted by her spouse’s wealthy family on the night of their wedding, as part of a ritual the family does to appease the Devil.
