Star Wars Zero Company Trailer Reveals Clone Wars Video Game

Star Wars Celebration Japan brought tons of announcements for the beloved sci-fi franchise. For the gamers out there, EA formally announced Star Wars Zero Company, the publisher’s next game set in a galaxy far, far away.

What is Star Wars Zero Company?

Star Wars Zero Company is a single-player turn-based tactics game developed by Bit Reactor in collaboration with Respawn Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games. Players take on the role of former Republic officer Hawks as he teams up with an “elite squad” to face a threat that will “consume the galaxy if left unchecked.” Check out the trailer below to see a glimpse of the game.

“Our vision for Star Wars Zero Company is grounded in gameplay design pillars that weave in the immersive Star Wars galaxy with engaging turn-based tactics gameplay,” said Greg Foertsch, CEO and Creative Director at Bit Reactor. “It’s our aim to deliver a game with an original Star Wars story from the Clone Wars era that has meaningful outcomes from player choices, and deep turn-based tactical combat with an approachable and cinematic presentation.”

“At Lucasfilm Games, we’re huge tactics fans and we have wanted to make a game like this for a long time,” said Douglas Reilly, GM & VP, Lucasfilm Games. “The best tactics games are all about meaningful choices, and we’re confident we have chosen the right squad in Bit Reactor to deliver a compelling and innovative title that is authentic to Star Wars.”

Star Wars Zero Company features a full single-player campaign that takes players across the galaxy. Players can improve their base of operations and gather intel in between missions. They’ll also be able to customize the appearance and combat class of Hawks and the various characters that are part of the company. This includes Clone Troopers, astromechs, and Jedi. As all these characters work together in missions, they’ll forge bonds, which unlock combat synergies that give the player the upper hand.

EA announced Star Wars Zero Company is scheduled to launch in 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
