Ayra Starr Teases New Track Featuring Wizkid Amid A Stellar 2025 Run

Afrobeats sensation Ayra Starr has thrilled fans with a sneak peek of her latest track, God Damn, which features a guest appearance from Grammy-winning artist Wizkid.

The rising star shared a teaser of the collaboration on her social media platforms on April 17, 2025, sparking excitement among fans who have eagerly anticipated another joint effort between the two. Their previous collaboration was on 2 Sugar, a standout track from Wizkid’s fifth studio album More Love, Less Ego.

Ayra Starr’s 2025 is already off to a dynamic start. She recently unveiled the music video for her single All The Love, continuing the momentum from what has been a remarkable year.

The upcoming single with Wizkid adds to a string of successes for Ayra, who has firmly cemented herself as one of the leading figures in the African pop music scene. Her influence was spotlighted when she topped Spotify’s Global Impact List for 2024, highlighting her global reach.

Her feature on Rvssian’s hit song Santa, included in her acclaimed sophomore album The Year I Turned 21, helped lead 30 Nigerian tracks to international prominence. The album also boasts fan-favorite tracks like Woman Commando (featuring Coco Jones and Aniita) and the infectious Commas.

Ayra’s achievements continue to stack up, with a landmark MOBO Award win earlier in the year underscoring her growing global acclaim.

Looking ahead, she’s eyeing more accolades at the 17th Headies Awards, where she has earned eight nominations—including nods for Album of the Year and Artist of the Year.
