Transfer: ‘Everyone likes him’ – Cafu welcomes Carlo Ancelotti to Brazil

Brazil legend, Cafu, has welcomed Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti, to the country if he decides to become the national team manager.

He said the Italian would be welcomed if he decides to coach the Selecao.

Ancelotti could be heading out of Real Madrid when his current deal expires having been at the Los Blancos helm since the summer of 2021.

The former Chelsea and Everton boss is one of the most decorated coaches in the history of the game.

He has achieved successes during both stints at Santiago Bernabeu, being the only one to win league titles in each of Europe’s top-5 leagues.

He is the only one to win the Champions League twice with two different teams.

His current contract at the Santiago Bernabeu expires next summer, but his future beyond that remains uncertain.

The legendary boss has been linked with the Brazil job for a while now.

However, Cafu is unsure if the Italian has made up his mind to do so.

He told the MARCA, “We hope you[Ancelotti]can make up your mind. If you come to Brazil, you will be welcome.”

Cafu played five seasons under the Italian at Milan and has a lot of good words for him, “We are just like you. We don’t know if he’s coming, if he’s not coming, if he’s going, if he’s staying at Real Madrid.

“It’s a big question mark whether the coach is going to go to the Brazilian national team.

“He is a very intelligent coach, a coach that everyone likes, a super champion coach who won everywhere he went. We hope he can make up his mind. If he comes to Brazil, welcome, mister.”

The noise about Ancelotti leaving Santiago Bernabeu became lauder after the Italian failed to guide the Spanish capital city club to the semi finals of this season’s Champions League.

The title holders were beaten home and away by Premier League side Arsenal 5-1 on aggregate.
