Peacock has revealed a new Twisted Metal Season 2 teaser trailer for the forthcoming return of the hit action comedy, based on the classic PlayStation video game series. The video continues to tease the introduction of the next season’s newest villain, Calypso.

“Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso,” reads the official synopsis for Season 2. “As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.”

When is the Twisted Metal Season 2 release date?

Nearly two years after its series debut, Twisted Metal Season 2 will now arrive on Peacock on July 31, 2025. The next installment will be led by Anthony Mackie, Stephanie Beatriz, Joe Seanoa, Will Arnett, and Anthony Carrigan. They will be joined by recurring guest stars Saylor Bell Curda, Lisa Gilroy, Richard de Klerk, Patty Guggenheim, Tiana Okoye, and Michael James Shaw.

The series is written and executive produced by Michael Jonathan Smith, who’s also serving as the showrunner. The Season 2 directing lineup includes Phil Sgriccia, Bill Benz, Iain MacDonald, and Bertie Ellwood. It is executive produced by Mackie, Arnett, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Marc Forman, Jason Spire, Grant Dekernion, Peter Principato, Asad Qizilbash, and Carter Swan.
