2025 UK Shawki Saad Fully Funded Scholarship at the Imperial College London

The Shawki Saad PhD Scholarship 2025 at Imperial College London is open to prospective students from Sub-Saharan Africa who have a solid academic background and a desire to address pressing issues in their area. Scholarship Criteria: 

• Be ordinarily resident in Sub-Saharan Africa

• Hold a First-Class or Upper Second-Class Honours Degree (or equivalent) in engineering or a numerate discipline

• Hold a Master’s level degree qualification

• Apply for a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London

• Propose a research project relevant to challenges in Sub-Saharan Africa

• Be a new PhD applicant (not available for continuing students).

  Scholarship Benefits: 

• Full overseas tuition fees covered.

• Annual stipend of at least £22,000.
