Interview with the Vampire Season 3 Poster Previews Lestat’s Rock Tour
AMC has released the official Interview with the Vampire Season 3 poster for the upcoming next installment to its acclaimed supernatural drama, based on Anne Rice‘s The Vampire Chronicles book series. This comes ahead of the cast and crew’s return to the set, as production on Season 3 is expected to begin later this year.
What does the Interview with the Vampire Season 3 poster show?
The first Season 3 poster for the Interview with the Vampire features microphone on stage, teasing the next chapter to the immortal life of Sam Reid’s Lestat de Lioncourt. It provides fans with a glimpse of Lestat’s transformation as a rockstar, who goes on a tour while sharing his side of the story after Louis’ book with Daniel Molloy becomes a best-seller. The poster also confirmed that AMC is currently targeting a 2026 return date for the show.
“In Season 3, resentful of the perfunctory portrayal in the trashy bestseller Interview With The Vampire, the Vampire Lestat sets his story straight in a way only the Vampire Lestat can – by starting a band and going on tour,” reads the official synopsis for the new installment. “Gabrielle. Nicholas. Magnus. Marius. Those Who Must Be Kept. They join Louis, Armand, Molloy, Sam, Raglan, Fareed and others we can’t tell you about yet on a sexy pilgrimage across space, time and trauma. No Auto-Tuning. No Trigger Warnings. All Feels Amplified.”
Interview With the Vampire is written and executive produced by Emmy nominee Rolin Jones, who also serves as the showrunner. The next season is expected to cover Rice’s The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned novels. Besides Reid, the series also stars Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, and Assad Zaman as Armand. It is executive produced by Mark Johnson and Christopher Rice.
