Netflix has finally announced the Fubar Season 2 release date for the upcoming return of its hit action comedy led by Arnold Schwarzenegger. In addition, the streamer also shared the poster and first-look photos from the new installment, teasing the introduction of The Matrix vet Carrie-Anne Moss as a German spy named Greta Nelso.
“They are icons,” creator Nick Santora said. “They know how to do action, be funny, and create full and engaging characters. So it was great to just sit back and watch them do their thing.”
When is the Fubar Season 2 release date?
Fubar Season 2 is scheduled to start streaming on June 12, 2025. The next installment will also feature Oscar nominee Monica Barbaro, Milan Carter, Fortune Feimster, Travis Van Winkle, Fabiana Udenio, Aparna Brielle, Guy Burnet, Andy Buckley, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jay Baruchel, Barbara Eve Harris and Scott Thompson.
“In Season 2, Luke Brunner is a veteran CIA operative who, up until recently, was on the verge of retirement. After his last mission in saving another operative – who just so happened to be his daughter – he’s back and face to face with new villains. This one is an old flame from Luke’s past who threatens to destroy the world…if she doesn’t destroy his life first,” reads the official logline.
The series is created and executive produced by showrunner Nick Santora. In addition to leading the cast, Schwarzenegger is also executive producing alongside Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Phil Abraham, Amy Pocha, Seth Cohen, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell. It is a production by Skydance Television.
