South Korean actor, Kim Soo Hyun in Tears as He Denies Dating Late Actress When She Was a Minor

Kim Soo Hyun, the South Korean actor facing controversy, has addressed the scandal surrounding his relationship with the late actress Kim Sae-Ron for the first time, a matter that has stirred the entertainment sector.

During a press conference on March 31 (Korean time), a visibly emotional Kim Soo Hyun, 37, denied claims made by a YouTube channel in March that he had been involved with Kim Sae-Ron while she was still underage. He has consistently refuted these allegations.

“I did not date her when she was a minor,” Kim said at the emotional news conference, where he declined to take questions.

“Apart from the fact that we were both actors, we were just an ordinary couple like anyone else. We had feelings for each other, and as time passed, we eventually parted ways. After that, we rarely kept in touch.”

After the event, a lawyer for Kim and his agency, Gold Medalist, announced they would be pursuing legal action against several parties, including the YouTube channel and Kim Sae-Ron’s family, for defamation and breaches of privacy.
