The release date for Tires Season 2 is set as the Shane Gillis comedy prepares to return to Netflix with a new clip.

When is the Tires Season 2 release date?

Tires Season 2 will be released on June 5 on Netflix, continuing the premise of the first season which centered on Will (played by Steven Gerben). The nervous and unqualified heir to an auto repair chain, Will tries his best to turn his father’s business around despite the tension from his cousin and employee Shane (played by Gillis).

Along with the release date announcement, Netflix unveiled a clip of the upcoming season. It focuses on Gillis’ character getting into a playful and expletive-filled argument and demanding more money. True to the premise of the series, he gives everyone around him a hard time.

With a cast that also includes Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, Stavros Halkias, and guest appearances by Andrew Schulz, Tires Season 2 will zero in on Will and Shane growing personally and professionally without fully realizing the cost of doing business. The change comes after their big marketing idea finds great success.

Tires is co-created and executive produced by Gillis, Gerben, and John McKeever, who also directs. Brandon James also serves as executive producer for Rough House alongside Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick for AGI Entertainment Media & Management and Becky Astphan. The sitcom marks the second production from Gillis and McKeever’s production company, named Dad Sick Productions, following Gillis’ stand-up special Beautiful Dogs.

It is among a recent slate of Netflix comedies that also include Nobody Wants This, A Man On The Inside, and Running Point. The three series, starring the likes of Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Kate Hudson, and Ted Danson, have received positive reviews and have all been renewed for another season.
