Seven Sisters Cast: The Penguin Star Joins FX’s Elizabeth Olsen Pilot
FX has officially tapped a new Seven Sisters cast member, who has signed on to star opposite Elizabeth Olsen in the upcoming drama pilot. Production is currently scheduled to begin in May.
“The series revolves around a large family that starts to fall apart when one of the sisters, begins speaking with a voice that no one else can hear. This revelation forces the family to confront long-hidden secrets,” reads the initial synopsis.
Who is joining in the Seven Sisters cast?
Following her acclaimed performance as Sofia Falcone in The Penguin, Cristin Milioti has finally found her next major TV project. Milioti has joined the cast of Seven Sisters, which will see Olsen playing a young mother. Further details about her character are still being kept under wraps, but she’s expected to play one of the titular leads. Besides the upcoming FX pilot, Milioti will also next be seen in the new season of Black Mirror, in which she’ll set to star in Season 7’s USS Callister sequel episode.
Seven Sisters will be written and executive produced by Will Arbery, with The Iron Claw’s Sean Durkin signing on to direct the pilot. This marks the reunion between Olsen and Durkin, who previously worked together on Durkin’s feature directorial debut, Martha Marcy May Marlene. The pilot is executive produced by Durkin and Garrett Basch, with FX Productions producing. Should it score an official series order, this would mark Basch’s fifth show with FX, after What We Do in the Shadows, Devs, Reservation Dogs, and an upcoming noir drama featuring Ethan Hawke.
