I See Funke Akindele As A Mother – Actress Juliana Olayode

Nigerian actress Juliana Olayode, also known as Toyo Baby, has described her senior colleague and filmmaker Funke Akindele as a maternal figure and a driven individual.

In an interview on the Oyinmomo Podcast, Juliana expressed her admiration for Funke’s exceptional qualities, noting that not all women achieve the same level of respect and admiration.

“What covers everything is to call her (Funke) a mother. There are various types of women, but not everybody qualifies to be called a mother,she explained.

Juliana further acknowledged Funke’s impressive work ethic, calling her a “workaholic” who is committed to excellence in all her endeavors.

“Aunty Funke is also a workaholic. She doesn’t joke with her work. She’s also a goal-getter. She makes sure she gets the best out of every project,” Juliana added.
