Josh Hartnett Faces a Plane Full of Assassins in Fight or Flight Trailer

Vertical has shared a new Fight or Flight trailer for the forthcoming action comedy, starring Josh Hartnett (Pearl Harbor, Trap) as a mercenary named Lucas Reyes. The movie is scheduled to arrive in theaters on May 9, 2025.

“Exiled American agent Lucas Reyes is given one last chance to redeem himself – the assignment is to track down and identify a mysterious, international high-value asset known only as The Ghost on a flight from Bangkok to San Francisco,” reads the official synopsis. “Complicating matters, the plane is filled with assassins from around the world who are assigned to kill them both. The pair must work together in a fight for their lives. At 37,000 feet, the stakes have never been higher.”

What happens in the Fight or Flight trailer?

The video provides the audiences with a glimpse of some of the film’s action-packed sequences, featuring Hartnett’s Lucas Reyes who’s newest mission brings him to a plane full of other assassins trying to kill him. The cast also includes Katee Sackhoff (The Mandalorian) as Katherine, Charithra Chandran (Bridgerton, One Piece Season 2) as Isha, Julian Kostov (Shadow and Bone) as Aaron Hunter, Marko Zaror (John Wick: Chapter 4) as Chayenne, and more.

Fight or Flight is directed by James Madigan from a screenplay written by Brooks McLaren and D.J. Cotrona. This marks Madigan’s feature-length directorial debut, after previously directing episodes of Marvel’s Runaways and Medal of Honor. The film is executive produced by Cotrona, McLaren, Melissa Bale, George Bennett, Alastair Burlingham, Danny Chan, Marc Danon, James Di Giacomo, Tara Finegan, Will Flynn, Diarmaid Odhran McGrath, Gary Raskin, Barbara Reardon, Justin Reardon, and Bryan Yaconelli.
