This follows a viral interview with Asake’s aunt, where she claimed that the singer’s mother left his biological father and later married Musibau Alani—who had attended Asake’s naming ceremony.

A video recently surfaced online, showing Musibau Alani sharing a message about the importance of good conduct during the fasting period. However, rather than engaging with his message, several users took to the comments section to criticize him.

Many left harsh remarks, labeling him with names such as “wife snatcher,” “Asake’s stepfather,” and even “jazz man.” Some questioned his involvement with Asake’s mother, while others criticized his alleged role in the family dispute.

Meanwhile, past acquaintances of Asake have shared insights into his childhood, with some urging the singer to mend fences with his father, who is reportedly unwell. Following the backlash, Asake has since pledged his support for his father and daughter.
