Alysha Burney, a well-known YouTuber, tragically passed away while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, just one day prior to her 25th birthday.
According to her brother, Charles Burney, she succumbed to an asthma attack during her sleep.
In response to the online speculation surrounding her death, he informed FOX4 that she did not use drugs and described her as a “self-loving and happy individual who cherished her life and was looking forward to the upcoming year’s plans.”
“She was in Mexico to celebrate her birthday. She was a very classy young woman,’ he said. “There’s a spread of misinformation online, stating different things based on speculation. These sources lack credibility and should not be believed. My sister did not engage in environments that would lead to such situations.”
Charles also commended his sister for her willingness to share her knowledge and for living her life as an ” very open book.”
“Alysha was very goal-oriented, creative, and passionate about giving back. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Digital Media Production and was working towards her graduate degree,” he remarked.
He further revealed that Alysha’s lifelong aspiration was to become a writer and director, with plans to return to Kansas City to establish a production studio aimed at supporting other young creative.
