Daredevil: Born Again’s Viewership Is Way Behind Loki Season 2

After debuting on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, Daredevil: Born Again‘s first-week viewership ratings are in. The revival series sees Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, and more returning to their roles from Marvel Television’s popular Daredevil series for Netflix, creating a highly-anticipated fan event. However, the viewership for Born Again has lagged behind the numbers for Agatha All Along and Loki Season 2.

Daredevil: Born Again’s ratings are lower than Loki Season 2 and Agatha All Along

Daredevil: Born Again’s two-episode premiere has clocked in a total of 7.5 million views within the first five days of the series’ debut, according to Variety.

The outlet stated that these viewership numbers make Daredevil: Born Again the most-watched premiere for Disney+ in 2025. However, the series still falls behind Marvel Studios’ previously released TV mini-series Agatha All Along.

Agatha All Along, which made its debut on Disney+ in September 2024, went on to get approximately 9.3 million views in its first week. On the other hand, another popular Marvel TV series, Loki Season 2, drew in 10.9 million just three days after its release in October 2023.

So despite generating the biggest debut for Disney+ so far in 2025, Daredevil: Born Again’s numbers continue a downward trend in viewership for debuts of new Marvel series on the streaming platform.

Following its release, Daredevil: Born Again was successful in winning over critics and fans with its first two episodes. On Rotten Tomatoes, the series scored 83 percent on the Tomatometer and 82 percent on the Popcornmeter. These numbers are expected to grow as new episodes of the series drop.

The official logline for Daredevil: Born Again as per Marvel.com reads, “Matt Murdock is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk pursues his own political endeavors in New York.” The story revolves around these two as “their past identities begin to emerge” and “both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.”
