Police arrest three for allegedly vandalizing electrical cables in Adamawa

The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three individuals for allegedly vandalizing and stealing large amount of electrical cables in Bororo village, Michika Local Government Area.

According to a statement from the command on Monday, its surveillance team from Michika Divisional Police Headquarters arrested the suspects on Sunday, March 9.

The arrested individuals—Emmanuel John (34), Habila Kwaji (21), and Mohammed Garba (28)—were found in possession of stolen electrical power cables. During a preliminary investigation, they confessed to the crime, as confirmed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje.

The suspects are currently in police custody as investigations continue, with authorities working to recover additional stolen materials.

Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Dankombo Morris, commended the officers for their swift action and issued a strong warning against acts of vandalism targeting public infrastructure.
