‘We used to get booed’ – Roy Keane frustrated with fans cheering Man United after 1-1 with Arsenal

Former Manchester United midfielder, Roy Keane, has slammed those cheering the players following their 1-1 draw with Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Keane shared his frustration, suggesting that the club deserves better.

The former Red Devils captain mourned the club’s evolving standards after the home fans cheered the players off the pitch.

Bruno Fernandes put the home side in front in the first half but Declan Rice equalised for the visitors in the 74th minute.

Keane said via Sam Pilger on X, as reported by Sportskeeda, “United getting cheered off here. We used to get booed off if we had drawn.”

Manchester United remain on the other side of the league table, 14th place precisely.

The club has been unable to find any serious consistency despite replacing Erik ten Hag with Ruben Amorim.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are 15 points adrift of runaway leaders, Liverpool, which makes their challenge for the title even more daunting, with a game in hand.
