Champions League review: 10-man Barcelona win at Benfica, Liverpool stun PSG

Barcelona were able to pull a narrow 1-0 win at Benfica in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 clash.

The LaLiga giants were favourites to win the tie, but were reduced to 10 men within the opening 20 minutes.

Pau Curbasi was shown a straight red card for tackling Vangelis Pavlidis as the last defender.

But it was Barca who got the crucial goal, with Raphinha pouncing on a defensive error to fire in the winner.

Liverpool defended for most of the game at Paris Saint-Germain, but left France with a 1-0 victory.

Harvey Elliott came off the bench to score a late winner for the Premier League leaders.

In the other games, Bayern Munich thrashed Bayer Leverkusen 3-0 and Inter Milan won 2-0 at Feyenoord.
