One-Punch Man Season 3 Gets Exciting Update From Producer

Atsushi Fujishiro, the producer of One-Punch Man, recently shared a positive update regarding Season 3 of the anime. The third installment of the fan-favorite series is all set to release in 2025, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the first season. Meanwhile, the studio handling the production of One-Punch Man Season 3 has not disclosed the official release date yet.

One-Punch Man producer says they are ‘steadily preparing’ Season 3

The renowned animation studio J.C. Staff recently released information regarding the production of their upcoming projects, which also includes One-Punch Man Season 3.

When asked about his enthusiasm regarding the anime he was working on, J.C. Staff producer Atsushi Fujishiro asserted, “We are steadily moving forward with preparations for “One Punch Man Season 3.” The content is 180 degrees different from the April edition (One-Punch Man Season 2), but it’s a popular title and I think expectations are high, so we’ll do our best not to disappoint those expectations.”

Season 2 of On-Punch Man came out in April 2019 and was subjected to mixed reactions from fans. Thus, Fujishiro has promised to give a better season. On the other hand, in February 2024, illustrator Yusuke Murata conveyed that he was not returning for the third season. He stated on X (formerly Twitter) that he will not be “involved in the third season of the One Punch Man anime.”

One-Punch Season 3 was announced with a special ’10th Anniversary’ tribute video in December 2024. As reported by ComingSoon earlier, Makoto Furukawa, who voices anime protagonist, Saitama, expressed his excitement for the upcoming season. He stated, “It was even longer ago that I auditioned, hoping to pass. Saitama and One-Punch Man have shown me many different sights. I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of excitement the third season will bring.”
