ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive To Die Alone trailer for the upcoming survival thriller about two hiking strangers, who suddenly find themselves lost in the wilderness after one of them sustained a serious injury. The movie hails from One Tree Entertainment.
“The film tells the story of Irving, a reserved solo hiker, who crosses paths with Ford, a charismatic EMT, while hiking the Pacific Crest Trail. Drawn together by the wilderness, they set off toward a remote lake — but their journey takes a terrifying turn when Irving suffers a catastrophic injury while swimming,” reads the official synopsis. “Stranded deep in the forest, with the off-season elements closing in and infection looming, the two must navigate the unforgiving terrain in a desperate fight for survival. As nature turns hostile and the odds stack against them, To Die Alone will leave you questioning: how far would you go to stay alive?”

When is the To Die Alone release date?
Following its world premiere at the San Francisco Independent Film Festival, To Die Alone will now be available to rent or own on digital platforms, starting on March 25. The movie is led by James Tang (Brooklyn Nine-Nine, NCIS: Los Angeles), Lisa Jacqueline Starrett (Get Away, Nine Days), James Chrosniak (The Enemy Within), Bill Sebastian (The Young and the Restless), and Presley-Belle Foster.
Described as a harrowing tale of survival, the film is directed and written by Austin Smagalski (Donovan Reid). It is produced by Austin Smagalski of Glass Creek Films and Connie Jo Sechrist, with G.W. Smagalski and Kai Smagalski serving as executive producers. The creative team also includes cinematographer Shelby Lee Parks, editor Noah Diamond, editor Isabel Yanes, and composer Jared Newman. It is a production of Charming Stranger Films.
