Sokoto: Bandits abduct two women in Rarah community attack

Armed bandits stormed Rarah community in Sokoto State on Monday night, abducting two women from their matrimonial homes.

The incident was contained in a post by security analyst Bakatsine on his official X handle on Tuesday.

“Yesterday night, bandits stormed Rarah community and abducted two women in their matrimonial houses,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, in a separate development, the Katsina Community Watch Corps (KCWC), Dandume Command, has arrested a suspected bandit identified as Saleh Yusuf.

During interrogation, Yusuf revealed that he hails from Haro camp, a known hideout for criminal elements operating in the region.

Authorities are yet to issue an official statement regarding the attack.
