ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Cold Wallet clip, previewing the upcoming thriller about a group who plans to kidnap a financial influencer after they’re scammed. The film is out today in select theaters and on video-on-demand services.

What happens in the Cold Wallet clip?

The Cold Wallet clip sees Billy (Raúl Castillo) talking with Charles Hegel (Josh Brener), the man the group of friends kidnapped. The influencer and Billy talk about Billy’s mistakes in being scammed, then offers him a potential deal if he’s willing to abandon his friends.

Cold Wallet is directed by Cutter Hodierne, from a script written by John Hibey. The film stars Raúl Castillo (Cassandro, Smile 2), Melonie Diaz (The First Purge), Tony Cavalero (The Righteous Gemstones), and Josh Brener (Silicon Valley), as well as Zoe Winters (Succession).

“Cold Wallet follows a ragtag team of vigilante Redditors who, after losing everything in a cryptocurrency scam, attempt to track down and kidnap the elusive crypto empire kingpin responsible for their sudden financial ruin,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “But when the home invasion takes a turn for the worse, they unwittingly become pawns in a psychological game that will test both their loyalty—and their sanity.”
