A statement by the Command’s spokesperson, Josephine Adeh said between February 6 and February 23, 2025, the police conducted a series of intelligence-led raid operations targeting criminal hideouts, abandoned buildings and black spots across the nation’s capital.https://dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/1000301171.jpg

She noted that the high-impact operations were executed with focus on crime-prone areas including Kurudu, Dutse Alhaji, Karshi, Kubwa, Apo, Wuye, Galadimawa, Iddo, Kuje, Zuba, Asokoro, Karu, Byazhin, and other strategic locations, leading to the arrest of the 245 suspects.

Josephine said the suspects are currently undergoing thorough profiling and screening, stating that those found culpable will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.https://dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/1000301187.jpg

The operations, according to her led to the recovery of a substantial cache of dangerous weapons, illicit substances, and items linked to criminal activities, including a large quantity of dried leaves suspected to be marijuana.https://dailypost.ng/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/1000301188.jpg

Also recovered are three axes and three machetes, often used in violent crimes, six small tubes of glue, five handmade bongs, materials commonly associated with substance abuse, eight pairs of scissors, five ID cards and various pills suspected to be illicit substances.
