Real Madrid offered me blank check – Neymar
Santos star, Neymar has revealed that Real Madrid offered him a blank check in the past.
According to Neymar, Real Madrid wanted to sign him and the Los Blancos were willing to give him whatever he wanted.
The incident happened when Neymar left Santos in 2013.
The Brazilian, however, opted to join Real Madrid’s LaLiga rivals Barcelona because of Ronaldinho and Lionel Messi.
“Real Madrid’s offer was a blank check, they told me I can have whatever I want… but I wanted Barça with my heart,” Neymar told Podpah.
“I’d have made 3x more money at Real Madrid. Florentino always liked me.
“But Ronaldinho played there and I wanted to play with Messi”.
