Caleb University gets NUC's accreditation for 3 B.SC. & 16 other PGD, MSC, MPHIL, & PHD programmes

The National Universities Commission (NUC) has granted full accreditation to a total of 19 undergraduate and postgraduate programmes at Caleb University Imota Lagos, with effect from the current 2024/2025 academic session.

The newly appointed acting Vice Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Olumuyiwa Adewale stated that the accreditation of the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is a testament to Caleb University's unwavering commitment to academic excellence. He maintained that the endorsement reaffirms our institution's strong reputation for academic quality, with numerous programmes accredited by recognized accrediting agencies.

“We are proud to have met rigorous academic standards, demonstrating our dedication to providing exceptional education to our students.”

The news of the multiple accreditation was communicated in a letter signed by Abubakar M. Girei, Ag. Director Academic Planning, on behalf of the Executive Secretary, based on a resource verification visit carried out by panels of experts to some proposed academic programmes in Caleb University.

“I am directed to inform the Vice-Chancellor that the Executive Secretary has considered and approved the establishment of the full-time mode of the programmes with effect from the 2024/2025 academic session.”

The breakdown of the new programmes granted full accreditation by the NUC include the following:

●B.Sc Broadcasting

●B.Sc. Journalism and Media Studies

●B.Sc. Film and Multimedia Studies

●PGD, MSc., M.Phil in Industrial Chemistry

●PGD, M,Sc, M.PhlI and PhD in Criminology and Security Studies

●M.Sc and PhD in Microbiology

●PGD„ M.Sc, M.Phil and PhD in Cyber Security
